Necessity or Profiteering?

I wonder why the JAMB Universities Matriculation Examinations are only valid for one year.

Good Times?

I have been using my phone (Nokia 6300) as a GPRS modem for sometime now, partly because I inadvertently observed that the rates were lower than the hitherto 70 kobo per kilobyte. I observe that I have been getting rates as low as 16 kobo per second. I haven’t heard or seen any official announcement from MTN, but this has persisted.

This is still now as low as to prevent me for looking for Internet access elsewhere, but it’s low enough to allow me to do more with the same amount of money.

Good going I must say, and I hope the prices go down further, until we get flat-rate!

I value your contributions to GNOME

Hi Karl (http://www.qdh.org.uk/wordpress/?page_id=2 ),

Just thought to drop a note in your support in the face of all that you’ve had to take just because you requested to be acknowledged for a particularly useful and high-profile contribution you made to GNOME.

Just for the record, I personally feel your demands were a little unnecessary, but I’ve found it very disheartening the way some members of the Ubuntu community have handled it.

I sincerely hope you don’t get discouraged into abandoning your passion for FOSS. I guess every one gets their highs and lows. I hope you consider this to be just one of your sad lows. I find the feature you added to g-s-m very useful, as I am sure a lot of other people do too.
